An award winning filmmaker and musician. His films deal with social issues. He wrote and performed the soundtrack for Cash Crop. His first feature documentary, Between the Bridges, addresses gentrification in Brooklyn’s D.U.M.B.O. neighborhood. He filmed the documentary Word! [out later this year] at Brooklyn’s famed Erasmus High School while filming Cash Crop throughout California. Word! is an intimate perspective inside an inner-city school where reggae meets hip hop. In 2007 he founded Sierra Films with Scott Ramage.
